Warranty and Exchange Policy

Warranty policy

1- All Silicon Valley electronic devices are guaranteed for at least two years, except for accessories and ancillaries.

2- To benefit from warranty services, please bring the original purchase invoice to match the device’s serial number and to ensure the validity of the warranty period.

3- Warranty service provider:

1-3 The guarantee for the product and manufacturing quality is provided by the agent or supplier, and the customer must contact them directly to obtain warranty and maintenance services in accordance with the rules and regulations.

2-3 Warranty and maintenance services provided by the agent or supplier are not considered the responsibility of Silicon Valley. This includes the availability of spare parts, repair time, and quality of service. The customer must communicate directly with the agent or supplier in the event of any complaint or claim.

3-3 To ensure the highest levels of service, Silicon Valley offers its own warranty on some products, and the customer can contact us for details.

4- General provisions of the guarantee:

1-4 The repair time takes a maximum of (15) days for faults covered by the warranty**.

2-4 The warranty covers free repair or replacement of spare parts in the event of a manufacturing defect. The warranty does not mean replacing the product or refunding its value. Malfunctions resulting from:

• Misuse of the product or non-compliance with the instructions for use in the product manual or the instructions referred to on the Internet and digital pages when activating the device.

• Fractures, blows, or exposure of the device to external factors such as liquids, humidity, or high temperature.

• Attempts at repair or maintenance operations by parties not approved by the agent or supplier, or the use of spare parts not approved by the Standards and Metrology Authority.

• Scan operating system files or partitions from the hard disk or malfunctions caused by viruses.

3-4 The customer has the right to obtain a temporary device or (1 ÷ 400) of the value of the item in the event of a delay in providing a spare part, a delay in maintenance, or in the event of a manufacturing defect in the product.

4-4 The customer can obtain a replacement item after paying the fair use value, or refund the purchase value after deducting the normal use value in the cases stipulated in the provisions on providing maintenance, providing spare parts, and ensuring the quality of workmanship issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

5-4 The warranty service provider must transport the customer’s device free of charge from remote areas where warranty services are not available, and the application of all general provisions of the warranty is the responsibility of the service provider.

6-4 The shelf life of each product varies, and the customer must review the product manual or contact the agent to determine the damage


5- Free delivery service:

1-5 For the convenience of the Silicon Valley customer, there is a free delivery service to the warranty service provider for some products on behalf of the customer (for faults covered by the warranty). This service is not considered an operation or maintenance procedure.

2-5 The customer has the right to go to the warranty service provider to obtain services directly, despite the availability of free delivery.

3-5 Silicon Valley provides contact information for the warranty service provider in addition to the repair order number so that the customer can follow up on the condition of the device or submit claims to the warranty service provider directly. In all cases, full responsibility towards the customer remains with the warranty service provider in accordance with the rules and regulations.

4-5 To benefit from the free delivery service, the customer must take their product to the after-sales service points inside the Silicon Valley showrooms

5-5 The delivery service takes a maximum of four to seven days, and this period is not counted within the repair time.

6-5 The customer can contact us to find out which products are included in the free delivery service. Silicon Valley also has the right to stop the delivery service for some products without prior notice without prejudice to the general warranty provisions.

6- Dead pixel policy on screens

The policy for replacing screens and devices that contain defective dead pixels varies from one company to another

In most companies, manufacturing defects that require warranty are calculated in screens with more than 4 dead pixels in order for the screen to be accepted for warranty.

Check the warranty and usage booklet for your screen upon purchase to clarify the warranty policy regarding dead pixels, or you can search on Google for the name of the manufacturer of your screen, for example (ASUS DEAD PIXEL POLICY).

Or you can verify that your product is covered by the warranty through a member of our customer service team or by inquiring by contacting us.

** Applies to faults covered by the product and workmanship warranty. Other malfunctions outside the warranty may take another period depending on the parts required
*** The fair usage cost is calculated at 5% of the product value at the time of purchase for each month starting from the date of purchase, not exceeding 80% of the product value.

 

Immediate replacement for factory defective products


• Silicon Valley Technology stores are committed to an identical replacement for the device with a manufacturing defect (non-software) within three (3) days from the date of purchase according to the following conditions:

1- The device must be free from scratches or misuse.

2- Bring the original box with all accessories and user manuals inside.

3- It may be necessary to submit a report from the authorized maintenance agent before the replacement process.


What if I lose the invoice, is there a possibility for exchange, return, or benefit from the warranty?

Unfortunately, dear customer, without the original invoice, we apologize for the replacement, return, or reprinting of the invoice (according to company policy). The device will be repaired if you wish, for a fee, and you will be informed of this by the maintenance center.

For purchases through the website

1- The return and exchange period is calculated from the date of receipt, which is 3 days from the date of receipt.

Return Policy

Canceling the order after shipping will result in a restocking fee of 5% of the order value in addition to round-trip shipping fees.

Canceling the computer assembly order will result in a 5% installation and preparation service fee, in addition to a 5% restocking fee of the device’s value, in addition to round-trip shipping fees.

- The product carton must be in its original condition and never been opened.

- Purchases paid with purchase vouchers, credit cards, or through the purchase installment service cannot be returned in cash, and the value can be exchanged for a purchase voucher.
